Tina Davies formerly worked with her husband Arthur at "Emmerdale Ayrshires" dairy farm in Eastern Ontario in the 1970's & 1980's while raising their 2 daughters and son. After a leave of absence from the farm for a few years, we moved to PEI in 2004 to farm organically and raise heritage breeds of livestock. We immediately became involved with promoting the growth of organic farming on the Island by joing PEI Certified Organic Producer's Co-op and Acorn, as well as assuming a greater involvement with Rare Breeds Canada. | |

Rev. Dr. Arthur Davies has been a United Church minister since 1989, working in Ontario until the move to PEI in the fall of 2004. Arthur is no 'sloucher', now working two jobs 7 days a week. He is part of the ministerial team at Trinity United Church in Summerside, PEI. He is a firm believer in the sustainable family farm and providing nourishing, chemical-free local produce to the community. | |

Alex Davies is Tina and Arthur's son. He is a web programmer, and is the author of this site. Alex is also a certified ESL teacher, and has lived and worked in China, Indonesia, Guatemala & the Galapagos (Ecuador). Having moved back home, he is currently an organic farmer on Emmerdale Eden Farm, and is involved in the Maritime organic movement.
